Out of Egypt: And Into the Rules

Worship

House of the Lord

VERSE 1
We worship the God who was, we worship the God who is
We worship the God who ever – more will be
He opened the prison doors, He parted the raging sea
My God, He holds the victory, yeah

CHORUS 1
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet, we shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet, we shout out Your praise

INTERLUDE 1
Oh, oh, oh
We shout out Your praise

Fix My Eyes

Verse 1
When my heart is weary when my soul is weak
When it seems I can’t traverse the trail before me
I survey the glory of Your agony
And I find the will to fight for what’s before me
‘Cause You ran the race enduring for Your glory

Chorus 1
I fix my eyes on You
The Founder and the Finisher of our faith
I fix my eyes on You
The solace in Your suffering is my strength

Verse 2
As I fight to follow You’re my righteous guide
And You train me to delight in all that’s holy
Heal my broken body cure my crooked stride
Trow off every weight and sin that clings so closely
I will run the race enduring for Your glory

Bridge 1
You help me breathe You’re the only life I need
You died for me You’re the only life I need

I Surrender All

VERSE 1
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live

CHORUS
I surrender all
I surrender all
All to Thee my blessed Saviour
I surrender all

VERSE 3
All to Jesus I surrender
Make me Saviour wholly Thine
Let me feel the Holy Spirit
Truly know that Thou art mine

VERSE 4
All to Jesus I surrender
Lord I give myself to Thee
Fill me with Thy love and power
Let Thy blessings fall on me

Exodus 19:3-8, 16-19

3 Moses went up the mountain to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain: “This is what you must say to the house of Jacob and explain to the Israelites: 4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now if you will carefully listen to me and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession out of all the peoples, although the whole earth is mine, 6 and you will be my kingdom of priests and my holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.”

7 After Moses came back, he summoned the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the Lord had commanded him. 8 Then all the people responded together, “We will do all that the Lord has spoken.” So Moses brought the people’s words back to the Lord. 16 On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and a very loud blast from a ram’s horn, so that all the people in the camp shuddered. 17 Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 18 Mount Sinai was completely enveloped in smoke because the Lord came down on it in fire. Its smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain shook violently. 19 As the sound of the ram’s horn grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him in the thunder.

20 The Lord came down on Mount Sinai at the top of the mountain. Then the Lord summoned Moses to the top of the mountain, and he went up.

Trust in God

Verse 1
Blessed assurance
Jesus is mine
He’s been my fourth man in the fire
Time after time
Born of His Spirit
Washed in His blood
And what He did for me on Calvary
Is more than enough

Chorus 1
I trust in God
My Saviour
The One who will never fail
He will never fail

Verse 2
Perfect submission
All is at rest
I know the author of tomorrow
Has ordered my steps
So this is my story
And this is my song
I’m praising my risen King and Saviour
All the day long

Bridge 1
I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered
I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered
I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered
That’s why I trust Him
That’s why (I trust Him)

Numbers 6:24-26

May the LORD bless you and protect you;
may the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
may the LORD look with favour on you
and give you peace.
