Visit Us This Sunday

Everyone is welcome to be part of our family

We've made it easy for you

Where is your worship service?

We meet at Kenneth D. Taylor School in the NW Calgary community of Evanston just about 4-5 minutes off of Stoney Trail. The school’s address is 30 Evanscove Cir NW, Calgary. Click here to get Google Map directions.

Once you get to the school, follow the signs to our main entrance and you’ll find a friendly face at the door ready to welcome you in and point you in the right direction.

What time do you start?

Our Sunday worship service starts at 10:30am and lasts about 65 minutes. Many arrive early to help greet people and most stay a while afterwards chatting with friends and letting their kids run around in the gym (or on the playground behind the school on nice days).

Where should I park?

You can park in the school parking lot or along the street in front of the school. Just don’t park in front of someone’s driveway…no one likes that!

What about my kids?

Our Kids Ministry is stellar! We offer safe and fun classes during the worship service for kids up to grade 5. When you walk in the main entrance and down the hallway, you’ll be greeted by one of our volunteers who will help you check-in your child(ren). Each child gets a safety label and parents get one too with a matching ID code. Kids join everyone in the main room for the first few songs and then are dismissed to class with their teachers.

What should I wear?

Clothes. Anything from Crocs to a three piece suit with a pocket square works for us.

What can I expect inside?

We are simple church that does our best to make Sunday morning worship feel like being with family. Our worship services include live music from our Worship Team, a message from the Bible, time for reflection and conversation with friends.

Oh, and our church coffee is not like any other church coffee since we use local roasters and have been blessed with a few almost-professional baristas who don’t let the pastor brew the coffee. There’ll be tea too 🙂

Is it easy to get connected with others?

One of our favourite parts of being a church family is connecting people to God and each other! We’ll greet you with a smile and probably start an awkward conversation with you…but that happens everywhere! We have a Connect Table setup in the back of our worship room with a host who would love to share with you about how you can:

  • Join a Connection Group to study the Bible and grow spiritually with others
  • Join a Ministry Team to serve and bless others
  • Join Hope Hills Church as a member
Can I join online?

Certainly! You’ll be able to take part in just about everything except the coffee and hugs. Our Online Church page lets you view the service live at 10:30am on Sundays, chat with others, submit a prayer request and has links for our Connect Card and Giving. Feel free to date us online and then join in person when you’re ready!

Do I have to be a Christian to come?

Not at all. We have people join us regularly who are part of a different religion or have no religious beliefs at all. Everyone is welcome to join us but we will warn you that Jesus just might change your life when you come 🙂
